We are a software company and like to build programs in our spare time, but not everything we develop is big enough to be classified as a program. 'Scriptlets' are what we call our tiny little programs that we now wonder how we ever lived without. They do endlessly useful jobs and the code required is simple enough to be understood and ran be almost anyone.
We deliver the source code to our scriptlets free of charge so you can adapt them or personalise them to suit you.
However, if you don't want to tinker with code, you can just copy and paste the script into a text document (with the extension .ahk) and run the scriptlets by double clicking,
you will need to install autohotkey first.
No coding expertise is required.
Our list of scriptlets is as follows:
Running on Startup
To make one of these scriptlets run on startup, follow these instructions:
- Download the program.
- Open up your 'startup' folder which will be in your start menu. You cannot run a search to find the startup folder as folders aren't displayed in search results so you will have to navigate though your start menu.
- Go back to where you saved the scriptlet, right-click on it and select 'Create Shortcut'.
- Then move that shortcut by dragging or cutting an pasting, into your startup folder.
